Storage

A focused reading path through the publishing stack.

Storage decisions begin with the lifecycle of the material. A current page, a corrected public release, and an intentional archive may need different retention policies. This collection examines IPFS content addressing, pinning, Arweave’s archival objective, and the delivery services surrounding them. It also keeps Filecoin’s role distinct from the IPFS protocol. Read the articles together before comparing providers: identifying content, paying to retain it, and serving it to a browser are related responsibilities, but none automatically supplies the others.
